Dessicated Coconut

The manufacturing process of desiccated coconut involves harvesting mature coconuts, dehusking and shelling to extract the white meat, which is then washed, peeled, grated into fine shreds, dried to reduce moisture content to 2-3%, graded for consistency, and packaged in airtight, moisture-proof containers to ensure a shelf-stable product for culinary use.
